Accord Air is a growing HVAC company serving homeowners and businesses across San Diego County. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to run installations from start to finish, lead a small crew, and deliver clean, code-compliant work our customers can count on.

What you’ll do:

• Lead residential and light commercial installs of furnaces, AC condensers, air handlers, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and ductwork
• Read and interpret job specs, load calculations, and equipment cut sheets
• Set, braze, evacuate, and charge refrigerant lines to manufacturer spec
• Handle line sets, electrical connections, condensate, and thermostat/controls wiring
• Lead and mentor installer helpers; assign tasks and keep jobs on schedule
• Perform startup, commissioning, and quality checks; make sure work passes inspection
• Keep job sites clean, communicate professionally with customers, and represent Accord Air well
• Maintain truck stock, tools, and accurate job documentation

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience, including lead or crew experience
• Solid knowledge of the refrigeration cycle, brazing, line set work, and system startup
• EPA Section 608 certification (Universal preferred)
• Comfortable with residential ductwork, electrical, and controls
• Familiarity with California Title 24 / energy code requirements is a plus
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varied outdoor conditions
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to lead by example

Pay & benefits:

• $30–$45/hr depending on experience

Accord Air is hiring an HVAC Installer Helper to support our install crews across San Diego County. This is a great entry point into the HVAC trade — no experience required, and we’ll train you. If you show up, work hard, and want to learn, you can build a real career here.

What you’ll do:

• Assist lead installers with residential and light commercial HVAC installs
• Carry and stage equipment, tools, and materials on the job site
• Help run ductwork and line sets and assist with furnace, AC, and heat pump installs
• Run wire, drill, fasten, seal, and clean up as directed
• Load and unload trucks and keep tools and stock organized
• Keep job sites clean and safe
• Learn the trade on the job and through manufacturer training

What we’re looking for:

• No experience required — willingness to learn is what matters most
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and on time
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, or eager to learn
• Valid California driver’s license preferred
• Positive attitude and a team mindset

Bonus points for:

• Any construction, trades, or general labor experience
• EPA 608 certification (not required — we can help you get it)
• Interest in HVAC as a long-term career

Pay & benefits:

• $20–$28/hr depending on experience
• Paid on-the-job training
